The name of Štiřín, today a part of the village of Kamenice, is first mentioned in 1395 in connection with Chval of Štiřín. Throughout the years it had various forms, including Stiřín, Stiřím or Štiřím.Links

Take Exit 15 (Všechromy) off the Prague-Brno Motorway D1 (signposted as “Velké Popovice”). Štiřín is located some 3km past the town of Velké Popovice.
If driving on Road 603 towards the town of Benešov, turn left in the village of Želivec. Štiřín is approx. 1km down the road.

Change to bus No. 461 to Kamenice - Strančice.
From Strančice and Velké Popovice
Take bus No. 461 (after getting off train No. 221 connecting Prague with Benešov u Prahy in Strančice)
From Říčany
Take train and then bus No. 461 or 428 to Jesenice. Change to bus No. 334, 335, 337 or 339
