Internet Connection within the Premises of Chateau Štiřín
Within the premises of Chateau Štiřín our clients can use the following two types of Internet connection:
- Wireless connection (WiFi)
- Connection to LAN through Ethernet cable
1. Wireless connection - O2 Hot Spot (formerly Eurotel WiFi Jet)
Wireless connection through O2 Hot Spot. This service is available in all buildings (the Chateau, Salm's Court, Atis House and Bailiff's House) and their close vicinity (some sections of gardens and parks). In order to use this type of connection, your computer needs to have a suitable interface and WiFi certification. If your notebook does not support this service, it is possible to use a wide range of additional devices (PC cards, USB peripheries, etc.). In addition, you need to have a mobile phone and a contract with Eurotel or a Go Card. SIM cards and Go Cards are available in the Chateau reception. The initial credit on all cards is CZK 50. Cards may be charged in accordance with your requirements.
2. Connection to LAN through Ethernet cable
Connection through the NOMADIX system provided by Mikenopa a.s. The system uses VDSL modems and standard telephone lines as well as Ethernet modems and the cable network.
Connection speed: 256 kbps
Basic Requirements
Before connecting, you have to make sure that your notebook does not run special security programs and that all other connection methods (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) are deactivated.

Localities
Internet connection is available in all guestrooms, in the four lounges of the Chateau (Suk Hall, Hunting Hall, Ringhoffer Lounge and Ridinger Lounge), in Salm's Court, in the foyer between the Hunting Hall and the Salm Hall, in the Salm Hall and in the Atis Restaurant.

Internet in rooms
VDSL modems connected to telephone sockets and Ethernet connection cables are available in guestrooms. The other end of the cable is placed in a card holder.

All modems are placed underneath bedside tables. Two green diodes indicate that a modem is active.
Central room switches must be on.

Charges
Each hour of room Internet connection is charged at CZK 60. Clients may select up to 5 hours of interrupted connection. Alternatively, it is possible to opt for daily connection. The daily connection charge is CZK 400.
The connection time runs from the moment of your first login, regardless of possible disconnection.
Billing
All Internet room connection charges are automatically added to hotel bills.

Connection in lounges and saloons
Wall sockets with blue and red protection caps are available in all halls and lounges, in Salm's Court and in Atis House. Use the blue socket to connect your Ethernet cable.
Ethernet cables are available in reception or from our Sales Department.

Internet connection configuration in lounges is very simple.
Charges
All charges for connection in halls and lounges are included in the rental price.
3. Other Arrangements
If requested, we are able to increase the speed of connection and prepare additional connection points in halls and lounges.
